God sent you & your family overseas for a purpose. It can be easy to lose sight of that in the midst of transition, culture shock, and the busyness of life. That’s why you need a MAPS group!
MAPS (Missional Accountability, Prayer, & Support) groups are small groups of military wives who meet to share, pray for each other, and encourage one another to be missional.
Choose from one of these options:
Start my own MAPS group – start a group in your living room, at your local playground, or wherever!! It’s simple - Anyone can do it!
Zoom MAPS – meet with other wives around the world via a 45-minute Zoom session - let us know which days and times work best for you!
Asynchronous MAPS – for busy moms who don’t have time to video chat! Use the Voxer or Signal app to connect with each other via voice text on your own timeframe.
What happens in a MAPS group?
Every time we meet, we simply ask each other these 4 questions. Something powerful happens when we take time to ask God to show us what He wants us to do next.
One woman felt like God was calling her to text 5 friends and tell them that she was praying for them…and was there anything specific she could pray about? All were happy to receive prayer, except for 1 friend who refused it. That refusal, though, opened up a spiritual conversation, which led to a Bible study between the 2 of them!
